The 2nd Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Snow Football Tournament will be held at the Harbin Ice Hockey Arena from March 1 to March 5, 2025. At that time, snow football teams from 8 countries including China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Mongolia will compete for the championship.

This competition will be hosted by Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Bureau and Harbin Municipal People's Government. It is organized by the Municipal Sports Bureau, the Preparatory task force of the Harbin Core Area of the SCO and Ice &Snow Sports Demonstration Zone, the Municipal Government Foreign Affairs Office, the Municipal Snow Football Association, and Shanghe (Harbin) Ice and Snow Sports Development Co., Ltd., with support from the Secretariat of the SCO Committee for Good Neighborhood, Friendship and Cooperation, the Chinese Football Association, and the Provincial Government’s Foreign Affairs Office. This competition is not only an international ice and snow sports competition jointly participated by all relevant countries under the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, but it has also been included in the activity directory of the countries of the SCO rotating presidency and the list of important activities of the National Development and Reform Commission "the Belt and Road · Ice and Snow Silk Road".

The matches will be divided into two groups. The final ranking will be determined through 16 matches of the single round of the group stage, and knockout matches. The opening match will start at 19:00 on March 1, with participation of two sides - the Chinese regional qualifying round champions, Football Club “China Shunjia”, and “Kyrgyzstan Snow Leopards”. On the day of the opening match, a few well-known domestic and foreign performance groups will give a wonderful performance on site, presenting a fabulous cultural and sports feast for the audience.

It is reported that various ice and snow cultural activities will also be held during the matches. At present, tickets for the competition have officially gone on sale on Damai website.
